I was born in Fargo, North Dakota (yes "that" Fargo). But I'm a farm girl. I was raised, together with 3 siblings, on a wheat farm a short distance from the city. I fondly remember my father taking us to school in the dead of winter, bundled up against the biting cold, silently sliding over the snowy fields in an open sleigh driven by two huge horses. Oh, the memories of that small country school! I married, had two boys who have since married, and produced 8 grandchildren between the two of them, all of whom seem to be growing up much faster than I remember my youth.
It wasn't until 1986 that I set foot in New Mexico. By this time I'd already had some Real Estate experience, but now my career was all-consuming and, despite a few "dips" here and there, blossomed into a satisfying and rewarding career.
