About John Lucero

I have been a full-time Residential & Commercial Realtor for the last twelve years. I have experience working with First-Time Home Buyers, Veterans, Investors, and Relocation & Active Military clients.

I am a past USAA & Navy Federal preferred Broker, as well as a past SIRVA Relocation preferred Broker, and I specialize in helping relocation clients buy and sell their homes quickly. As a Preferred Broker, I assist clients in buying and selling homes as they transfer in and out of New Mexico. I also specialize in Investment and Commercial properties.

As a Commercial Broker, I have helped clients purchase apartments and strip malls, as well as lease suites for their businesses. As a full-time Realtor, I enjoy working with people and appreciate that every individual has their own unique circumstances. Helping to alleviate the stress of buying and selling is the part of my job that I truly take pride in.

Patience, discipline, and commitment are key to my success. I excel in contract negotiations, market research, and marketing properties to ensure that my clients always achieve the best possible results, whether buying or selling. I believe that "If you can’t sell yourself, how are you going to help someone sell their biggest investment?"

Each client comes with their own story and set of circumstances. My job is to assess each situation and provide individualized service. As a result of my dedication, I was awarded the 2014 Key to Integrity Award and was honored as the 2018 Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors Salesperson of the Year. I have also completed the CCIM 101: Financial for Commercial Investment Real Estate course.

My promise to you is that I will be there from beginning to close. I will show up for all appointments, provide weekly updates, and recommend only professionals that I would personally use. I will not pass you off to an assistant or team member—it’s me from start to finish.

In my free time, I enjoy competing in jiujitsu, kickboxing, and competitive swimming.
